Lettuce Wraps are a great way to snack between meals
– guilt free and gluten free!
Approved for the transition phase of Dr. Hoffman’s Natural HCG Diet
-Lettuce (broad leaf)
-Sprouts (any kind)
-Deli meat (preferably turkey or chicken – make sure it is Gluten Free)
-Sliced red onion
Optional ingredients:
-Avocad0
-Hummus
-Just about any other tasty vegetable can be sliced thinly and added to the wrap
Directions: Prepare all ingredients in thinly sliced strips that are easy to wrap. Wash and dry the store bought, organic lettuce leaves- or better yet, pick them right from your garden and use fresh! Lay the ingredients out on top of each lettuce leaf and wrap carefully into a rolled snack. These can be refrigerated easily and make a great snack in between meals, or if you need to grab and go. Kids love them too!
